Press Releases: If you submit a press release, your name, business name, and contact info may be published publicly on the site.

Payment Information: For paid services, we collect payment details through our payment processor Stripe. We do not store or access credit card numbers.

Communication Data: Emails sent via contact forms or through lead capture features may be stored and used for communication and analytics.

Usage Data: We use Google Analytics and similar tools to collect anonymized information on site traffic, interactions, browser type, location, and device type.

Authentication & Third-Party Services

Clerk Authentication

We use Clerk.dev as our authentication provider. Clerk handles user authentication, account management, and security. When you sign up or sign in, Clerk processes your authentication data according to their own privacy policy.

Clerk may collect and process the following information:

• Email address and password
• Profile information (name, profile picture)
• Authentication logs and security data
• Device and browser information

Facebook Authentication

If you choose to sign in with Facebook, we receive basic profile information from Facebook, including:

• Your Facebook profile name
• Email address associated with your Facebook account
• Profile picture (if you choose to share it)

We do not post to your Facebook account or access your Facebook friends list. Facebook's use of your information is governed by their own privacy policy.

How We Use Your Information

Public Information

Information submitted for press releases or business listings may be published publicly. This includes business contact information, bios, and any images or media uploaded. You should only submit content you are comfortable sharing publicly.

•You can choose not to use Facebook authentication and use email/password instead.

Data Deletion Policy

If you have logged into Petzuva using Facebook and would like your personal data deleted, you may request it by contacting us or following the instructions below.

How to Request Data Deletion

Users can request deletion of their personal data by:

• Sending an email to [email protected] with the subject line "Facebook Data Deletion Request"
• Visiting the account settings page when logged in and choosing "Delete My Account" (if implemented)

What Happens When You Request Deletion

• Your user account and associated data (such as your email, name, and login metadata) will be permanently deleted from our systems
• We use Clerk.dev as our authentication provider, which also deletes your account and authentication records
• Any third-party integrations will also be disconnected
• We aim to complete deletion requests within 72 hours

Law Enforcement Data Request Policy

Petzuva is committed to protecting the privacy and rights of our users. In situations where a public authority or law enforcement agency requests access to user data, we follow these principles:

Legal Review

All requests are reviewed to verify their legal validity. We do not provide data without proper legal process, such as a subpoena, court order, or warrant.

Right to Challenge

If we determine a request is unlawful or overly broad, we reserve the right to challenge it or request clarification or modification from the requesting authority.

Data Minimization

We will only provide the minimum amount of data necessary to comply with the legal obligation.

Documentation & Accountability

All such requests are logged internally, including the nature of the request, the data disclosed (if any), the legal justification, and the identity of the requesting agency.

Note: Petzuva utilizes Clerk.dev as its identity platform. Clerk maintains its own robust legal and privacy frameworks in alignment with global data protection laws. Where applicable, Petzuva defers to Clerk's policies for processing data requests.

Security

We use modern security measures to protect your data. However, no online service is 100% secure, and we encourage you to use strong passwords and safeguard your credentials.

Children's Privacy

Petzuva is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

We may update this policy as our platform evolves. All changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
